4.3.3: When I am printing using EMTOOLWN, why is the background color of the printed plot always black?
This is caused by the use of a black background with EMTOOLWN. To change the background color, use the Color option to choose Black on White.
4.3.4: How can I put EMTOOLWN in silent mode?
Select the None option from the Bell option of the Options menu (for more details on the emtoolw options, refer to the EMME/2 User's Manual, Chapter 7, Section 7.1.2).
4.3.5: Why am I unable to obtain graphics in high resolution?
The problem is probably related to the resolution used for Windows. For best results, set the Windows resolution to at least 1024 by 768 (the resolution chosen must also be supported by the monitor) and "maximize" the EMTOOLWN window. To verify and change the resolution used for Windows, follow these steps:
- For Windows NT:
- In the desktop, click the right mouse button.
- In the window that opens, click on Properties.
- In the Display Properties window, click on the Settings tab.
- Look at the Desktop area section. If the resolution is already 1024x768 (or higher), and you do not want to modify it, click on Cancel. Otherwise, select a higher resolution for the window display, click on Apply.
