pportunity for SPECTREs to come together and exchange ideas on their approaches. In this way MVA Systematica can hope to identify a successful SPECTRE formula that can be more widely applied. Regardless of the approaches of individual SPECTREs they will all be united by a common theme. In each partnership both MVA Systematica and the SPECTRE will have resource and expertise with which to bring benefit to the other. The research success in particular of a SPECTRE will depend on both parties attempting to complement their skills and identifying targeted and appropriate topics of research. Indeed, TRIPS users should be encouraged to put forward their own suggestions and recommendations in this regard.
