| 备 注: | 讲座人员简介 Dr. Hans van Lint After receiving an MSc degree in Civil Engineering (specialization informatics / softcomputing) at the TU Delft in 1997 Hans van Lint worked as a software engineer / information analyst in a small software form; as project engineer at a large infrastructure consultancy (DHV) and as the technical project coordinator of the regional traffic information centre of the municipality of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In 2004 he received a PhD in freeway travel time prediction at the TU Delft and took on a position as assistant professor at the same institute (Transport & Planning department at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences). His main interests and expertise areas include traffic flow theory and modeling, travel time estimation and prediction, ITS and dynamic traffic management, and application of artificial neural networks, data assimilation techniques (e.g. Kalman Filters) and statistics to transport problems. In the past 6 years he's written and/or co-authored a dozen journal articles and over 40 reviewed conference articles on these subjects. In 2007 he received a prestegious 3-year personal research grant from the Dutch National science foundation. Van Lint is member of the IPC of the IEEE-ITSC conferences, and asked as editor for the International Journal of Transport Research. He has been actively involved in many international research projects, collaborating with various Chinese, Japanese, US and EU universities and institutes.
